Ernie Therrien

Dan Baxter and Ernie Therrien joined forces in 1999 to open Canusa Homes, LTD, owner and developer of The Pointe de Las Conchas. Together, they have over 50 years of building experience in the United States and in Canada.

As the President of Construction for The Pointe de Las Conchas, Mr. Therrien serves as the senior production manager and chief financial officer. For Canusa, he manages project development and land acquisition. Mr. Therrien has over 28 years of residential construction experience and has developed an expertise in scouting out land to successfully develop.

Mr. Therrien is passionate about discovering innovative ways of building. He enjoys staying in tune with new building concepts and incorporating the concepts into new projects.

As the Vice President of The Pointe de Las Conchas Project, Mr. Baxter oversees design and quality control. As the President of Canusa, he heads up design and construction. Mr. Baxter has developed an eye for project design from his 22 years in the industry. He got his start building cabinets in his youth, and his enjoyment of carpentry lead him into a career in construction and general contracting.

Mr. Baxter enjoys developing unique and interesting homes that are unique yet cost effective. When he isn’t building homes for Canusa, he is building homes for his family and friends.
